Exclamation The Paladin: Race and Deity

As always, I am undecided. My new character is going to be a paladin, so that I might better spread messages of love, peace, and understanding to the world of Norrath. With that in mind, I'm exploring the various race/deity combination to hopefully find one that fits me. Maybe you can help!

I eliminated the option of dwarf off the bat, as they are ugly, unintelligent, and harmful to the environment. Was thinking of eliminating humans for being bland and uninteresting, but after visiting EQ allah and looking at some pictures they look okay in plate:

so I've included them again as a possibility. All of the other races are great, too, so I just don't know. I thought maybe eliminating some deities would help but it really didn't.

This narrows things down to:
Human of Rodcet/Erollisi
Half Elf of Rodcet/Erolisi/Tunare
High Elf of Tunare
Erudite of Quellious

Rodcet is great because "through faith in the Prime Healer, the wounded heart of the universe shall one day be mended, and death's dark shadow will never be seen again." Very romantic.

Erollisi is love, and that needs no explanation.

Tunare is my usual choice, because nature is great and it makes me think of the whole "oneness" thing.

Quellious is interesting, and it reminds me of Eastern religions which I'm kinda into.

It's such a shame that I have to pick just one race and religion [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Ehh .. What do you want to play? A paladin follows their heart to their god, and their god is their heart.

human paladin looks cool in velious, half elf has a dildo helmet and high elves suck

dwarf is cool for a min maxer but then you have to look stupid

go tunare for velious deity specific stuff like natures defender or w/e

Well,

If you want decent stats to start, i said Humain or Half elf.

If yu want best pal mana pool, and great Epic Tunare only (Half elf get it too), i said High elf with Tunare Diety. (My choice)

If yu want good specific pal Items, roll Erudite.

If yu want to be ugly and ridicoulus, but nice stats and good cultural armor, i said Dwarf.

welcome in Paths of truth and honor.[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Why server chat turned into palaman chat recently?
Make dwarf for the awesome deity cultural armor, least em dont need diamonds to make their set.

For looks, dragon helmet and white tiger helmets can't be beat, although the scorpion isn't bad. Half elven Velious plate is just bad. Have a look for yourself on Velious armor models:

Tunarian Paladins have one distinct advantage over every other paladin: the most badass weapon graphic:

It might not be as good as epic (slightly lower stats and cannot bash), but its pure beauty. Sadly the best close-up of it also used Luclin models.

Erudite base stats are pretty miserable, but erudites obviously have the most style.

Human-boring
Dwarf-ugly
High elf-white supremist
Half elf-stupid looking

Meet in the middle: Half-elf/Tunare

Still get the soard. Has enough STR to carry it.
