Except that a large portion of a rogue's damage (majority?) comes from BS. The only reason rogues are the best DPS is due to BS. Otherwise they share the same skills and dmg tables as other classes (in classic) without criticals and with worse ratio weapons. Yes, BS is a tool in the box, but its like a hammer when you need to hammer nails in.

So yes, stick with highest dmg piercer in MH, regardless. You can go full nerd and switch in a high dmg piercer for BS with better ratio overall, but again, weapons in classic arent really good enough to do that.
