its pointless to have maps disabled grats at increasing the time sink, I know where things are but I still like using the map its part of my pvp strategy.... PUT MAPS IN OR IM GOING ON STRIKE!

I agree with the original poster, but without the empty threats.

There is no sensible reason to disable maps. There are already other things that have been changed to improve the classic experience, why not let us view maps?

i actually think that learning the zones without a map is a major skill in classic eq. you can look things up on eqwiki/atlas, but good look doing that on the fly when someone is racing you to a named mob or while someone is attacking you.
