Just to put it out there, you may want to get over that "I dont mq things" motto, cause mage epic is easily one of the hardest bottlenecks outside of a top tier guild to loot.

The water staff is worth it to have even if you never go for epic.

Mages are valuable for the Phinny kill, so hopefully the folks keeping Phinny dead will want your help. Good luck!
