Doesn’t look siouxish. Is baldness really high T? I thought it was stress and plastic in the soil
it's twofold. so, high concentration of T (really, high DHT, but they are pretty well correlated) induces male pattern baldness by causing a sort of down-cycling of "dht-sensitive" hair follicles, which are concentrated on the top of the scalp in the pattern of the masc hairline.

The other thing that causes downsizing, hibernation, and eventual permanent death of hair follicles is a lack of blood flow and nutrition. Rogaine, which does work, does nothing more than dilate blood vessels (taken systemically, it's a banned performance-enhancing substance in sport). So, a person with high testosterone concentration combined with poor cardiovascular health has hair follicles in the presence of "poison" and with a lack of nutrition = rapider baldness.

So, yes, baldness correlates with poor fitness on some level but it's not universal and the other correlate is excessive manliness.

So I have a full, thick head of hair but my beard isn't thick on the sides.

Which makes me a massive bitch.

I've taken Testosterone before but the only thing I noticed was that I was jumping up and slapping the tops of door frames everywhere.

Remember the douches that would do that in high school?

I essentially turned into a high school jock.

My beard didn't do shit.

I did that in high school. I played football and dated two separate blonde cheerleaders. Pretty legit for a foreigner in nacogdoches Texas back in the 80s. Even then people knew I was 14.88% Armenian

I remember playing football in high school. I was surprised by how strong the smell of ball sweat was in the locker room. I found I enjoyed getting ragdolled around in bodyarmor that miraculously kept 3-4 ft freefalls to the ground from hurting, but I decided I was a gentler sort who would just hold the team back due to my lack of malodorous lower body pungency and graciously quit on the first day.

I have horrible social anxiety now. Was probably 400x worse at 13. I didn’t look at people, period. But no... back then I remember trying very very very hard to not seem gay. Big source of anxiety right there which is weird because I never considered myself gay either.

Fun fact: I still don’t know my sexual orientation.

I went bald at 16 which was very unusual. At the time, I just assumed it was hereditary, and looking back, it probably just was. I take a medication for a tumor in the head which is a dopamine agonist and fights high prolactin levels. When the tumor was estimated to have formed in my early 20's my T was at levels around 100ngDL, which I sort of ignored. When it was discovered and I started taking the medication, it shot up to 2400 ngDL, which is disturbingly high. Today my T levels are actually slightly in the too high range.. so the truth is, even if I didn't go bald early im sure I would have had plenty of events to cause it to happen.. but now im super healthy outside of a little bit of hyper testosterone that's only just outside of normal (usually around 1100). Hopefully it lowers to something safer in a few years. I would have thought that it would have helped me get jacked or lift but I still feel like a weakling trying to bench past 140-150 [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Anyway way off track there, but I was always told T levels effect on baldness was mostly a myth. I never cared to research much on it. Ive been bald longer then haired so at this point I forgot what hair even is ;D

you're thinking of viagra and cialis

both are PAH treatments

minoxidil might actually cause pulmonary hypertension
