45 players on basically the average that a new server would have month 6 with good reason. Voting not disappointed.

That statement has zero basis in reality. Red had around 500 pop basically until velious hit even through full guild ban waves. It had 300 pop for like a year of velious.

Its a ten year old server with a pvp ruleset that means there’s no reason to play it for anyone, so they just play blue green instead.

Red two will have a robust pop for at least three years regardless of ruleset or terrible staff decisions.

Longer if things go well.

Red had a disastrous launch / ruleset that was left neglected for 1.5 year+ and was only corrected when the server hit single digit pop and then crippled again a month or 2 after that with the xp nerf. Theres no reason to think that a server with a decent ruleset from the get go will not hit 300+ players into classic + kunark. If we are lucky on top of that and we get an article in PC gamer (lol) or some streamer decides to hype the launch with spillover from green/blue we might be looking at 600-700 steady players for 3+ years. Its hard to stress enough what kind of difference no xp loss from day1 will make. People will have fun instead of hiding from pvp. This is likely to make the pop grow, not dwindle fast. Night and day.

If we could find all the answers positive and negative, to solve the solution some how. Then the voice in my head screaming, "Stop making fucking Everquest easier!", hunger may be cured. In the subject, if we determine, there is no other answer.

If anything else is an absolute, insanely complicated programing nightmare, then I could play and have my legit old game feel.

Its true I get a little enthusiastic.

P99 team would have to bend over backwards to pull off a worse ruleset and launch strat for red 2. Pop will be great for a while and we’ll enjoy it while it lasts.
