Credit card rates, car loans, mortgage rates, that sort of stuff is what is actually getting affected by the rate hikes. But the Federal Reserve pretty much controls market sentiment even though they don't have a direct effect on it. Anytime they do QE, market goes through the roof. They start doing QT, recession incoming.

The average sale-to-list price ratio, which measures how close homes are selling to their asking prices, rose to an all-time high of 102.9%. In other words, the average home sold for 2.9% above its asking price. This was up from 101.5% a year earlier.
