Default Creeps run too fast?

I don't remember them running this fast on live. I'm talking about regular snakes and stuff too, not buffed mobs.

Their run speed is how I remember it in classic (ie, you need strafe running, jumping, or some kind of movement buff to get away)

Not buying it. =Nobody even really knew too much about strafe running (let alone the fact that it was faster) in the beginning and I guarantee I trained many a Crushbone zoneline back in the day just fine without it. I do remember jumping alot, but who knows for sure if it was necessary. The other major problem here is the frontal cone hit box being too large which compounds the problem.

I have not experienced mobs running too fast myself, being a druid. I just wanna know when exactly root started NOT overwriting snare. I was pretty sure I could snare then root mobs before velious came out, but like I said before that was 10+ years ago.
