OptionsEditor.exe string not found help?

I would like to tweak some graphics settings and it seems that's to be done with this optionsEditor.exe

When I run it, it doesn't seem to see my graphics card, so all the options present with errors. "String not found (8049)"

or how to get the editor exe to see my graphics card?
Anyone know how to edit things like texture resolution / mip mapping?

Move your install out of program files / run the editor as an admin.

All the settings are in eqclient.ini I believe. You can edit that - but if you've installed under program files, you'll need to edit the copy that's in your user directory. Or, you can move your install out of program files.
