I am still a bit shocked ... the news hit me during a rough patch and I felt it keenly.

May he always rest in peace, wherever we all go after this strange thing we call life.

Respects to him and his work.

Thanks for everything, thanks for the memories ...

If only it could be 1999 once more.
The world and the future so full of promise and potential.
RIP Brad.

When I was a Guide on Tunare, I remember seeing a bunch of memoralizing statues in cshome -- would be cool to add a new one chilling above us all. Then again, it would be cooler if we could see it. Maybe a future statue when p99 staff said they'd add some custom content later?

From Fennin Ro, during the Soerbaird's "Freeport Festival of Song".

Aradune showed up, joined my group, and made it snow in Freeport for us. Quite the day.

He will be missed.

Remarkable that you still have this screengrab, what a great memory of Brad and EQ. Look at that UI - was this Kunark era?

Cause of death not disclosed either means they don't know, or it was something they'd rather not talk about.

I feel terrible that I missed this news. This is incredibly sad. He was a visionary and changed the gaming scene. I'm lost for words.
