A bit of teasing yes. No offense, but a leftist telling me they don’t want to be around the “far right” or “Qanon” is meaningless to me because I’ve seen so many leftists stereotype anything right of middle as “far right”. So saying you don’t want to be around the fringe to me means you don’t want to be around any conservative. I’ve just been conditioned this way, not your fault

Why would you criticize someone for wanting to remain in their bubble when Qanon is on the outside?!

Bad ideas need to be dragged into the light and destroyed there, not pushed underground IMO. I have no problem being around a Qanon and telling them that I don’t think their ideas are realistic, especially on an online anonymous forum like this. So that’s where we differ. Discussing Qanon politics with a drunk friend of the family at my cousin’s wedding was not the time or place which is why I shut it down. But online I have no problem with. I think most people prefer to stay in their bubbles in general even online and we are all actually worse off for it
