With a fungi, you can play pretty much any melee class to 50 solo ... and any group or duo/trio option out there would have to be smoking crack to not want a fungi melee in the group (it just makes the game way too easy).
As far as raw power (overpowered), monk wins hands down. Rangers are a blast to play. Knights are fun as well. The most boring option would be to play a rogue, followed closely by warrior.

If you're intending for this character to be an end-game raider, then rogue is the best choice. Raids always need DPS. If you just want to be casual and AFK a lot, then monk. If you want to be a soloing powerhouse, pick shaman.
Highly recommend not picking ranger, warrior, SK, or paladin. | ||
