Yeah! The offended holier than you hairdresser shouldn't have to choose between butchering your mane for a good price or apologizing to leave at short notice because "Just got a call - My mother is in the hospital, so sorry!" The latter choice might not be too incovenient for her actually if they return fairly quickly and are pretty sure you won't be around to see her car return in 15 minutes. But that 15 minutes or more is still time lost for her to work.
