Red Willowisp Ghosts

Anyone else ever notice that, sometimes, what appears to be a red willowisp will bounce around on dungeon walls for a few seconds then disappear?

It's a strange phenomenon i've observed a few times in many different dungeons (KC, Lguk, Sebilis, etc). I'm hoping it's not the ghost of christmas willowisp past, come to haunt me from my noob trash slaying times. It was just a phase.
