Not gonna lie, a bull moose up close was a bit scary the first time. More so than some big ass black bears. That said, the first time I saw a grizzly bear up close on a hike I about shit my pants. It had to be 1000+ lbs. I say first time. They have some Bear sanctuaries and places where bears are catching salmon and don’t give a shit, I’ve seen some at those places. I hope to not encounter another on a hike.

I drove across Canada and so I don’t have any guns here, but if I lived here I’d open carry a 1911 or something when hiking. Everyone has bear spray and air horns and they say that’s enough, but seriously this grizzly was massive

I gotta agree with that decision. Trans women in women’s sports is bullshit and I don’t even know how anyone could argue for it. Straight up unfair.
