My good friend needed Verina for his enc epic, and the reboot today popped her along with all raid mobs.

He logged in first and saw she was up. Fortunately I am bound at pots so it was a quick run over. When I got there I saw some people who got there ahead of me. Was surprised that they did so. I have a feeling they pulled before they were ready when they saw me, and they wiped - sorry guys =\.

So I charmed a vendor near the back, pulled with malo and worked on slow while pet tanked. The fight was very easy at first. She is not hard slowed, and with about 170mr I was able to resist most of her spells.

Somehow she managed to CH around 25%. This sucked for a number of reasons, but most of all because I was not expecting it. First, it caused me to have to reslow, but this time I had 2 resists before the 3rd landed, and by then I was a very LOM. I backed away to regain some and verina dispelled my pet's malosini and charm. Luckily, I was able to root pet and sup heal myself. By that time I believe I was oom, but I charmed pet again and managed to get the fight under control.

It went fairly smooth from here... I think she ran out of mana so her dps was constant and she didnt try to heal this time around.

Pretty fun fight. I hesitate to do these fights normally as they are needed for epics, but it gave me an excuse because my buddy needed it and he also had to run his Enc over from WC.

Soloed Verina Tomb on a 60 druid, had to use a few tricks.

Pulled her to the 50 NPC at the back of the zone, burned 2 invis ring charges navigating through the guards inbetween her nukes.

Didn't have much time to prep my pet as I was trying to rush it. Ended up getting an add and dying due to an interrupted superior healing.

2nd run at her I used my final charge on the only ring of shadows I had on my druid (acquired just for this pull). and engaged with about 30% Mana + Magic Resist gear on this time. With around 190 MR, the spells on pull were a bit more manageable.

Set up pet with Flame Lick -> Ensnare -> Puppet Strings -> Bracer of Hidden when Flame Lick ended to prevent dispells. Still had 1 dispell through the fight, but a dual wielding + 70% Hasted + 32 DS'd pet rocked Verina's world. Aggroed a the roaming dark elf in that building again and dropped a root on him. I was planning on using him as a backup pet if my primary pet died.

I tried to burn 3 mallet charges to stick a slow on her but it never stuck and I decided I didn't want even more aggro on her in the event of a charm break.

Pet interrupted 3 Complete Heals; I was extremely concerned on the final attempt when my pet missed many swings in a row but I think he stuck a bash and she finally started to flee. I had forgotten to epic snare her, so I just wildfire'd her with my only mana, ending with about 5%.

As with most fights where a level 50 merchant NPC that hits for 140 and dual wields is available, its a lot of sit back and wait. (Unsure if sarcasm, at 3AM my sarcasmmeter is not functional)

The CH interrupts and dispells were the only causes for concern.

Setting up the pet properly with 2 junk buffs, Hasting it and praying for interrupts makes soloing Verina (and Vessel/Tangrin/Wraith) pretty straight forward. All 4 of those fights I soloed using the same strategy as Verina. Charm, Weaponize, Haste, DS, and Robe Heals.

I've done a duo Brother Qwinn using two clerics with puppet strings, no Donal's. It's always a pretty close fight with this setup, lots easier to bring a third like a shaman/enchanter for hasting pets.

Wondering what else you're aiming to duo.

Ixiblat Fer - Duo by Liia and me.

Liia and I had been planning to duo ixi for some time. In fact we had tried in the past but failed when he went into enrage.

I think I will spare a lot of discussion for this one and instead post pictures.

Here, we are prepped for the fight and I am about to pull. Liia has the ape and I have slixen who is out of the picture. Note that I have pet up.. purpose is to regain some mana when I get back.

Ixi at 89%. Pet had a tash stick which made it easier, and I landed slow on 3rd or 4th attempt. Note Ixi's DPS - max hit around 575. Also note that, while he has 32k hp, his regen is very significant and that is why 2 pets only brought him to 89% after 3-4 slows.

Getting him down, now at 63%. I believe my pet broke a bit before this. Liia's pet didn't break for the entire fight - lower lvl pet so as to avoid CH interrupts.

We also got an add at this point, not in picture but liia hailing sarnak avenger.

27%... my HP and mana are low. I had been trying to malosini him then trying to slow him toward the end. Neither would stick - unlucky.
