Default Green 2H question - Mith 2hander / Dark Reaver

Assuming we are on Green:

At the high end say level 49 and level 50 is it worth it for a Shadow Knight that is wielding a Mithril 2-hander to swap in a Dark Reaver for the proc: Steal Strength every 9 min and once it procs to swap back to Mithril 2-hander?

What kind of dps diff would we be talking from the 27 Str difference w or w/out this Dark Reaver proc while wielding a Mith 2h?

Appreciate the input of some seasoned SKs if weapon swapping like this makes sense to do.

I used to do that way back in the day, if i was soloing i would whip out the reaver when the mob got low enough life to flee and lets you beat on it when snared, then the loss of DPS is mostly irrelevant.

In groups what I would do it swap the reaver in for the first round of combat and then immediately switch back to mith. This switching will cost you virtually zero dps loss and only an increase to your DPS if you get a proc. and since its a slow weapon and the proc lasts 9 mins at high level even just that one attack per mob will often be enough to keep it up permanently if you are continuously fighting.

I don't think anyone not on P99 staff knows the exact formula for STR damage bonus.

STR is supposed to increase your damage in three ways: higher max damage, higher average damage, and a bump to your attack power which should be an increase in the rate you land hits and how much damage you do as well.

The wiki talks about it at some length but it's clear it's not for sure known how STR affects damage.

maybe there is some bored level 50 out there who will read this and log a bunch of hours killing the exact same mob and get some hard numbers.(maybe someone already did this on the forums?)
