I've always thought this was such a weird first episode to start the Next Generation. I'm not saying it's a bad episode, just saying it's a strange one to start with.

TNG was my absolute favorite of the trek series.

Q opens the show in my opinion. It really shows the universe is unexplored and these people are exploring the unknown, things never seen. just my 2 cents.

I just watched the episode where Deanna Troi was setup in an arranged marriage by her mother and Bill was all upset. Lucky for them at the last moment a diseased space hottie rolled onto the scene and stole her husband to be.

That episode was super tense for Riker fans!

 

Then that guy jumps ship and goes off into space with the diseased people.

I myself like how they used Deanna Troi's mother is latter episodes. Alway's teasing Picard when she shows up [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
