How did they even have elections at all when ID's were not common place? We're been having them for like 300 years.. Only in the past 2 decades, when voter fraud has been at its lowest ever, do republicans now say "EVERYONE MUST SHOW ID!! " well unless you get mail in ballots, or absentee ballots... those are ok to get without ID... but if you vote in person!!! lol fucking idiots.

Maybe this is on me but I legit don't understand what is wrong with absentee ballots and why they worked for so long but now they restrict voting rights.
