It exists already. We are living it.

How about an ultra realistic sirken simulator where you play as sirken and have to manage everything from GM work to reaching for toilet paper to wipe your ass

I think a game like this could be really successful if it was done correctly.

Like, somehow GameDevTycoon got really popular and that game was honestly kinda shitty. What the game expected you to do didn't really make logical sense, so if you were playing "normally" you'd fail, but once you figured out what the game wanted you to do you could never lose. Which makes for a pretty boring gaming experience. You were essentially playing "beat the lousy programming" instead of actually playing the game.

This seemed like a decent idea so I started out on it yesterday. I'm using cocos2d-x which is C++ and very portable cross platform. I've found some good art that's creative commons licensed. The problem is I have like 0 free time, so I don't even have any milestones in sight. I'll have to look into that game for some inspiration.

I'm thinking of having the zone creation be like a simplified version of like RPGMaker, and have a realistic AI for the players (people log on and off and shit, you got casuals and powergamers). Prolly throw in some TMO stealing all the dragons so your customer base isn't happy references. On the business side the amount of developers you have will effect how fast it takes to launch a zone or a quest and shit after you make it. In game purchases for everything from caffeine pills to walt's blue crystal rock candy to speed things up.

release date: vaporware
