Odd, don't think my playing has ever resulted in quest xp being shut off for 30 days. Must just be a coincidence.

It had nothing to do with players (all they did was play classic EQ).

Quest XP was shut off because after ten years of "beta testing" (when they easily could have made any changes to quest XP ... or anything else) the staff decided to just throw classic EQ out the window for a month on Green ... so they could indulge their unclassic "server first" MMOG speed-running fetish.

If any players are to blame it's the like 0.01% of the server that actually cares about server firsts: "they" ruined classic EQ for 100% of the players on the classic EQ server. But again, it was 100% Rogean and Nilbog's call, so it's not even really any player's fault.

This server has never been anything but "classic" in name and spirit. Green will never be a true classic EQ server. Those are 20 years old and are never coming back.
