Yeah having grown up in upstate new york and lived in boston for college, you definitely start to appreciate the natural four seasons. They all have their place. I lived in LA for a while and it just gets so boring, you can't even tell what month you're in.

I think you should do it. Americans need to move around more, take advantage of our open state boarders. If you don’t like where you live, leave.

There is no good state in the US to move to every state and local government is corrupt in Babylon.

Get into the habit of checking your shoes for scorpions before you put them on. Had a relative from the Dallas area who got a hospital stay on account of a scorpion having taken up residence in her footwear.

Beyond that, it seems like a nice enough area when I've visited the region in the past. The drive-through fast food joints were of superior quality to a lot of the sit-down restaurants here in OH. Might explain the obesity rates, all the food was dramatically better than around here.

Housing market is fucking bananas right now. $45k appreciation on my starter home I bought with my California money in just 3 years. We'll never ride the real estate wave our parents did but this is nice.

If you legit don't like the cold i can respect that barely. But if blue hair lesbians are making you leave the promise land your just weak. Hey wont don't you home school i know Washington sucks dick for homeschoolers but I'm sure you can find a charter or something that let's you do your own thing. Urban areas are over though for sure go rural, last breaths of a dying civilization imo. Check out ca way better than texas and great homeschool laws. Obviously not sf or la

Fat is a choice, and people make that choice everywhere

also its too expensive in most of florida to retire here
you say that from Florida.

The overall obesity rate in USA is 42.4%, which is carried by certain states, so you aren't anywhere close to bein truthful. TX is THE FATTEST, or at least it was a few years ago. I can go to a grocery store around here and not see a single obese, or maybe just 1 and 2 clinicals who barely qualify. I've lived in the south so don't lie to me.

it's a HUGE difference.

If people are walking around pissing and shitting on the street in broad daylight with impunity, I'm not sure that qualifies as the "promised land".
