Default Different computer

I just installed p99 on a new comp logged in with my account and I dont have my character on this computer any way to recover him?

Are you sure you're logged in with the same account to the correct server? The characters aren't computer bound. What names do you currently see for the default characters when you log in?

in the first 4 player spaces it says something is out of date and im pretty sure im using the same log in information I made 3 accounts but only use 1 because I dont box or anything only have 1 character ill go check quick

Install the latest files from here: http://www.project1999.com/files/P99Files47.zip It's best that you move your EQ directory out from the default program files (x86) if you installed it there. Also make sure you exclude your EQ directory from virus scanning.

thanks for the recent file list update yes it is installed under the x86 I think I broke the install by deleting a single file and trying to copy a new one in not sure but Ill let you know the error is something to do with dsetup.dll being case sensitive? will keep trying

ensure you exclude your EQ from the Virus Scanning. That is probably what is removing the dsetup.dll file from the P99Files47.zip.
