Absor responded below explaining the functionality was removed and it was intended. Back-tracking the dates provided it was the Nov 8, 2001 patch. "Bainwolf wrote: When /targetgroupbuff was implemented on the Wednesday patch it allowed using the Druid BP(ROTG) on other groups. As of the patch on Thursday this did not work, but casting any other group spell did. Was this intentional? I was a very happycamper after Wednesday's patch, buffing for raids made my life so much easier circles, potg, rotg etc. Thursday I lost part of that functionality and would wish for it back. Thanks" Items are not supposed to work with this ability, just player cast spells. Alan

![]() Supporting patch notes:
Sounds super fun procing OT hammer and sending the person to OT. Trololol "------------------------------ November 8, 2001 3:00 am ------------------------------ ** Follow-up Patch ** We had a couple of bugs pop up in yesterday's patch. Rather than having everyone wait to see them fixed we've elected to roll them in now: Bards lost the ability to use item effects while moving. This has been fixed. Monks can now train mend again. Fixed a collision problem that caused people to fall through some walls. Fixed a problem with /targetgroupbuff that allowed people to cast combat portal spells on others. We apologize for the inconvenience. - The EverQuest Team"
