Default Wizard spell Rend was actually mistakenly Cold resist until March 21st, 2000 patch

Rend was actually Cold resist until March 21st, 2000. Verifiable with March SPDats here:

This appears to already be true in the spells file, but is currently set to change to Magic in June 2000, not March 2000. Hmm

I moved it back to March 2000 given the patch note, I'm not seeing anything showing the spell update was delayed.
