Best DPS Class for a Naggy/Vox Alt?
Just curious what people think the best DPS Naggy/Vox alt would be. Im thinking its probably Rogue but I wasnt sure if it might be a wizard.

Melee DPS doesn't get resisted.

52 Wizard -> 51 Wizard -> 50 Wizard -> 49 Wizard -> 52 Rogue -> 52 Monk.
Wizard is best DPS. Ice Comet rarely resists on Nagafen, Draught rarely resists on Vox. On Vox you can have a Wand of Conflagration for a free 1.5k DMG when spammed. You have concussion to drop aggro of the fight is going long and Harvest as well. Magic Resist gear is really easy to get for a wizard (Staff of Gabstik for 25 free MR and sweet stats). Definitely best DPS for Nagafen/Vox. And for basically any raid mob, Wizards are beasts.

Yeah Wizard easily - you can hit 200 int/150ish MR unbuffed with some quested items (Staff of Gabstik, cloak from Felwithe), 7 MR bracers/13 MR rings/etc, and Carmine/Cryosilk

Im not saying wizards aren't powerful, they are just susceptible to RNG way more.

Resist or hit, Concussion will remove hate from you. The EQ Devs honestly didn't understand that this is how EQ hate worked when they had hate decreasers as spell components, evidence by Jolt/Cinder Jolt. There's no need for a fire resist one when a magic resist Jolt that gets chain resisted dumps hate anyways. If you want to challenge this, test it on a black reaver. Aggro the reaver with a tank sort of high on aggro. Then spam Concussion. You will get resists every time but after 1-2 casts the reaver will turn to the tank, even if the tank had turned off attack to stop generating hate once you pulled aggro. Wizards are really easy to level from 29-52. They are really easy/cheap to gear effectively for N/V. They can dodge in and out from damage AEs, they have Manaskin to prevent damage, they have their own resist buffs that stack (Elemental Armor / Arch Shielding) for extra CR/FR/MR. For Vox specifically, a 49 Wizard is crucial for mobilizing (Evac to WK, then once in WK casting the Evac WK spell again will port your group from the spire to the QHills zone line saving a 3-4minute run without selos). Yes, resists do hurt. So does missing a backstab. So does the mob getting pushed out of range or getting dragged out of range by over aggro etc. To be honest though, resists were pretty rare when my wizard was a Naggy/Vox alt. I'd say Ice Comet was a full hit 70% of the time with maybe 5-10% full resists and rest being partials. If you wanted to play it safe, you could dump Lures with guaranteed 640 DMG every 7 seconds (90 DPS for about a minute, which is what your mana would allow for, roughly 5500 DMG+). On Vox, Draught rarely resisted and had a few partials. Those mobs really aren't resistant at all to the opposite element.
