Since the beginning of the server, Tracking has been severely bugged out

And it is still severely bugged out, to the point where pvp is lossed due to track being bugged.

Please help this issue.

Been like that on blue since day 1 I believe. I am not 100% but I think zoning/camping and returning might fix it.

just to clarity its players being tracked that is broken. Mobs and player pets can always be tracked but tracking a player will often lead you to zoneline or a random spot.

its like the server isnt telling your client the updated location of players.

you recieve the initial location of the player when you first zone-in, and that's that.
(that initial location is usually ghosted at the zoneline they entered from).

as sam says, the server updates the client with the tracking locations for all NPC and pets.. just not players.

My original assumption was that this mechanic had been purposely broken to prevent MQ being able to track players properly. (Cant find the player if the server not telling u where he is)

I've used it reliably on Huff and Avon when I had access to those accounts here. Not to say it never works and I'm sure it bugs out.

It bugged out on live too as long as I can remember sometimes and logging woudln't even fix it.

I remember shadow stepping broke the shit out of it pretty consistently.

He's a druid, an assling like you sir.

This is one of those things that should be fixed. It was fixed, then broke, then fixed... it should be fixed here [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.].

I think it only breaks on players, not mobs.

If you have it fail on a mob post it. Players are going to be a weirdy.
