<Castle> nukes rules that support fair rogue book races on Green, becomes enemy #1???
Circa 7 weeks into epics on P99 Green, not all players have their epics. In particular the rogue epic (which should be one of the easiest) isn't currently equipped by every level 46 rogue on the server. Despite Kingdom & Seal Team having "too many rogue epics", those deadly daggers are apparently rare and only held by a handful of "causal players." The situation is dire.
The Green UN and volunteer GMs had created rules to support fair races for the PoH book spawn. These rules were revised a couple times but essentially when someone identifies a book is up, everyone who wants to participate has to adhere to requirements such as zoning out to WC, waiting for a certain /rand roll, and only porting up after the proper roll took place. In an attempt to gain advantage for their "casual raid force," Castle's lead Potato decided to withdraw his guild from the race rules. The claimed intention was to provide Castle's player base with an advantage as other guilds would still be required to adhere to the race rules but Castle would not. This withdrawal was met with a lot of emotions across the server. Most decried this as foul behavior by filthy casuals wanting free epics handed to them. Another "causal" P99 Green guild, Dynasty, quickly came to Castle's defense and withdrew from the rules. Dynasty Officer Maavy stated his guild cannot possibly "camp these books forever" and "none of our rogues, even ones that got their epics, liked" the race. Yet while playing the victim, Maavy failed to disclose that his guild has already obtained multiple book spawns and would have more had they not botched the epic turn-in for a rogue guild officer costing them a book. Dynasty leadership then attempted to guilt trip another rogue guild member into MQing their rightfully won book to the rogue officer who messed up their turn-in. This behavior isn't new to the "casual family oriented DKP guild" as they also lost a shaman epic when guild officers instructed a paladin to loot a child's tear in PoF not understanding true spirit faction requirements. Please help me understand who the bad guys are here: Is it Seal Team and Kingdom because they have won too many times and are depriving Castle and Dynasty types their rightful epics? Or are the casual players the problem because they think everyone should get handed a trophy when they just need to "get good" ? Or is the staff's fault because this 22 year old game is just too hard and they should be making it easier for the player base either by implementing additional rules or just handing people loot?? I come to the wise RnF community for answers and hope you will help me see the light...

Roll for loot rights at WC spire on book spawn. Done.
Kingdom and ST have a bevy of epic rogues now they can afford to miss some books. This shit is going to keep spawning every ten hours until they merge the server and Velious is barely over a month away, its time to chill out on the book meta.

Quite entertaining post. I read it as an overly dramatic news reporter from the 50's. Well done!
