Valhallah on FV~
Hey, folks!
In today's EverQuest there are lot of challenging aspects to starting and maintaining a successful guild on not just Firiona Vie, but on any server. A lot of players in today's game are either returning after long, long breaks or coming in fresh with little to no experience. Regardless of your status, we'd like to announce that we're interested in what you may have to offer Valhallah! If you're returning after a long break or if you're interested in raiding and aren't quite at that level that guilds require you to be, Valhallah sees both sides of the coin! On one side, they just don't make EverQuest players like they used to! On the other, we're firm believers in that what truly matters is the player behind the keyboard, not what class and race you see on your computer screen. If you're capable of listening, following instructions and learning all while having fun and enjoying your time with fellow gamers, we want to hear from you! How It Works... Valhallah is a mix of players that raid (or have at one time raided) in the most casual of guilds to the most bleeding-edge guilds; from one side of the spectrum to the other! Regardless, we're interested in being the absolute best that the Firiona Vie server has to offer. In order for this to happen, we need people that are interested in helping us and being a part of the journey! If you're not quite at the level required to be an applicant but are still interested in learning what modern-day EverQuest raiding has to offer, we would like to tell you a little bit about our pre-applicant status. You'll be tagged with the Valhallah guild tag and given the rank of "Pre-Applicant." During this phase, you will be unable to display your guild tag until you are able to meet the requirements in level and alternate ability count. During this time, however, you will be able to group with our current members and leadership, experience what our Ventrilo atmosphere has to offer, experience missions, learn about your class, learn about the end-game, get to know and befriend our players and have fun while working toward the requirements to raid! By the time you're ready to raid, you will have grouped with and gotten to know our players well enough that it will make the experience that much better than jumping into a raid force that you've never met and played with before! Essentially, think of it as an investment of our time in grouping, experiencing and playing with you in-game in order to get to know what you can offer the Valhallah raiding atmosphere. Disclaimers While it is a very laid-back and chill process, we do need to lay down a couple of ground rules that need to be understood. First off, when tagged as a Pre-Applicant it is all under the assumption that you will work towards grouping with and getting to know our members, advancing your character in levels and alternate abilities and trying your best to be online during raid times as much as possible (although this isn't an absolute necessity, it will show us that you are capable of being online for when we raid as a guild). Second, once you reach the point of L100 and a sufficient AA-count, you will be subject to the application process that Valhallah has. You will submit an application to the recruitment officer just like every other applicant and progress through the one-month process of becoming a full member. The good news, however, is that you will have a one-up on how things work and be that much closer to completing your applicant status. In some cases that depend upon your performance, the application period could even be significantly shortened thanks to your time spent as a pre-applicant! how long does this take,a whole week??? sorry but this shit aint classic,i want no part of your heathen ways!
