Nostalgia is a powerful DRUG

Please excuse my use of maximum sized characters but it's the truth.
Don't let people tell you it's anything else.

Live in the past, it's better than what we're living in now-a-days.

BTW Lancelot that coat tail rider didn't come up with my signature it was before he came around.

if you're from OPs generation, you proubbly watched a lot of Twilight Zone. I loved how like half the episodes were about mark twain days, barefoot kids with cornhusk hats running around. Every time there was like a heaven or a fantasy life episode it was a high probability of being in the old tom sawyer days.

Even back then in the 1950's they were feeding off nostalgia of their youth.

I bet the people in the inquisition were like, the early inquisition was so much better.

I think once you make it back before pre-industrial times, people didn’t have the time or need to lament phantom adversities of modernity. They lived with it daily. Every day was as much a struggle as the last and people were thankful for every moment of respite.
