I use the modified particle files as well. When it is more complete, I plan to include it in the default patch files.

Telin, what can the community do to assist with this aside from the hex edits? Test on eqmac, have certain classes cast specific spells and screenshot/fraps the effects, etc (?).

I hope we can get all the research needed prior to eqmac closing on the 18th.

The majority of classic spell particles can be found on YouTube and most of the spells make sense in how they progress in complexity. The only issue eqmac can solve are beyond in-game observations. Client issues like how are classic particle emitters aligned to skeletal meshes and how can titanium client properly load the spells.eff particle table are probably not terribly affected by the server closure.
