Default Primal velium weapons?

http://wiki.project1999.com/Primal_Velium_Brawl_Stick
http://wiki.project1999.com/Woodsman%27s_Staff

I'm an end-game idiot, so bare with me.

The difference between an end-game raiding force and 6k is 2 damage and a bunch of stats?

We all know stats are more-or-less a joke in this game. Can someone explain why this even seems worth it?

woodsman staff is usable by 1 class in the game.....Primal staff is usable by all but 2...The avatar proc and stats are what makes the item much more valuable. And once it gets its 2h upgrade it will be 45/44.

If warriors, monks, shadowknights, and paladins could use woodsman's staff and if it proced avatar and if it had 5 to all stats and resistances and if it had a better damage/delay ratio and if it had 10 ac, it would be a great deal more valuable.

this weapon might not feel ubber in velious, but if you take it for a trip down lower guk....or split paw. you would feel the power...assuming you have toiled in those dungeons before in a less than ubber state. Or did you have a silver spoon in your mouth from day 1?

Step 1) Proc Avatar
Step 2) Go back to your normal, better weapons.
Step 3) Repeat as necessary.

Don't forget you'll be in resist gear for half the Velious fights, so your melee stats may not be impressive all the time. The weapon is all about the proc, and I imagine a lot of people will just use it due to this convenience, even if they lose a few damage.

Doubt it. Most people that will be seeing this early enough are not the "lazy" sort of players.
