NO it was shit policy!
What they should have done (which is irrelevant but since you say it awas good policy) was they should have frozen banks from collecting mortage payments and landloards from collecting rents. And if you couldnt pay for your life style as a landloard, well thats what the stimmulus and unemployment is for. And the franchises should have stopped payroll, because the workers didnt need it (which is why they cant find workers to fill the jobs now because they still dont need those shit jobs it turns out) and the ppp should have been there to keep "SMALL" buisness (not corperate franchisese) afloat and essential buisnesess open basicaly it was shit policy from the get go, but even worse is DEMORATS like the one that is trying to tell me that it was good policy, not trying to make our SHIT goverment better, and just revealing that they are another carbon copy of the same that transfers the wealth to the 1% and the worker is thrown under the bus

if the government were to subsidize parasite landlords and not the workers actually keeping society functioning because those workers happened to work for a corporation rather than a privately held small business... that's a recipe for disaster.

The goverment is like the airport. First they make the TSA take your water. But they dont think about how that affects the market. And on the other side of the TSA the stores sell you water for $15 dollars. The goverment could have for one second thought about what it was doing (like the CCP does) and made a law that said that they couldnt charge 15$ for water... But why would they want to mess with the economy!

How about mortgage? The banks are the supplier in this drug war.
That's really the entity that we need to shut down. These banks are too powerful and all we have to show for it after a 50 year experiment is insane evaluations for Facebook and Uber. We need to go back to the old days where people were polite and you could hit a wo I mean you could afford a house.
