All:
Paradigm Shift is changing its loot system in just a few short days, and we wanted to encourage anyone who has ever considered PS but said “man, I just can’t do LC” to think about it again. PS prides itself on taking on some of the hardest and most challenging content in the game. Of being ready to go after and do the hardest pulls. Of taking the opportunity to team up and down new encounters. This is a guild that actively opposes becoming a zerg force, that loves putting together low numbers kills (27 for Feshlak, 19 man Vindis, 12 man Xygoz!) and doing it with its friends. Just ask our friends in Europa, Omni, Kittens, and AEGIS how we handle things. Not only that, but we don’t take p99 too seriously. You won’t hear people getting yelled at or berated in TS. People are free to ask questions (and disagree!). We just ask that people show up, learn, and get better. I joined p99 less than a year ago. Paradigm Shift has given me all the tools I need to understand and work through encounters. I’m regularly asked to put together and organize parts of the raid, and when you run a tight knit crew like we do, we need EVERYONE to step up. So - this will be the guild for you if you want to learn how to maximize your class and truly understand an encounter and do things the right way. We’re also one of three guilds with the infrastructure to actually compete for inner ring ToV dragons, and (in collaboration our AG pals) the only guild to knock out a competitive Vulak from either Tempest or Aftermath in recent memory. That’s a credit to our leadership, our pull team, and our members who are willing to put on the time and the effort to accomplish those goals. So what changes now that we’re going DKP? As far as leadership is concerned? Nothing - we are gonna compete and go for mobs, help people finish their epics, and have fun doing it. It’s just a little different way of assigning out the loot we get. We’ll be competitive, but sane. www.p99ps.com

Lame suicide dkp sounds like a good one for a ranger named RIPqozko!
We're moving to an open bid system. Fortunately, lots of guilds on p1999 use DKP. So we've spent considerable time chatting with a wide section of p99'ers from a variety of different guilds to learn the pros and cons of the various approaches to DKP systems to make decisions about what's best for us.
