Default EQgame.exe Bad image

Hi

I am new to Project 1999 and I require a little bit of aid here.

I have installed EQ Titanium and downloaded the P99 files.

At first i kept having problems with Mcafee and Dsetup.dll but I think i have that part fixed now.

However now when i try to launch the game I get EQgame.exe Bad Image error.

it says "Sony\Everquest\DSETUP.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error"

Any clue how to fix it?

Thanks

Check that you have the DSETUP.DLL that comes in the P99Files zip.

Make sure you've disabled any virus scans for that file and/or the entire P99 folder.

Myriverse is correct. If you don't exclude that folder then when you try to copy stuff to it your AV will actually prevent it from being written.

Yeah I figured it out.

Turns out my McAfee changed something in the .dll file even though I told it not to

Works fine now

Thanks [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
