Default Flowing Thought items

Can someone tell me if Flowing Thought items stack? For example, i am trying to work on my Coldain Prayer Shawl quest, which has Flowing Thought 1 on it. If i got another item with the same effect, will only one work? or both?

What if you have a item with Flowing Thought 1, and another with Flowing Thought 2? Do those stack or does only the Flowing Thought 2 item work because it's "higher" than 1?

I seem to remember that the same levels of FT did NOT stack???

So two items with FT1 will not stack.

But, an FT1 and an FT2 will stack.

I am likely wrong here, and it may be different on P99.

I remember it the way Pootle described above. Same levels of FT don't stack but different ones do.

There's an old thread where someone quotes Haynar as saying this is the case, but then there's some back and forth so not sure what the final determination is (if there is one).

Velious and Luclin were my primetime for raiding and Luclin had tons of flowing thought items. I am 100% certain that flowing thought items of the same level stacked although there was a cap (the cap was something like 15 or 21). I remember specifically because it was one of the reason emperor's shawl was so good because it was 12mana regen per tick that stacked with FT and Clarity.

Highest is 8 for int casters. there is only a FT1, FT2, and FT5 item to wear.

So what stacks then and what does not? I only ask because im trying to get the Coldain Prayer Shawl shoulder item, it has FT 1. If i get this item, does that mean i should not bother trying to get any other item on P99 with FT 1?

Correct.
You can get ft2 from the white dragon boot or whatever the name, from yelinak's head quest. And a ft3 item from tunare for priest or a ft5 item also from tunare for int caster...
