Murky Vial still doesn't shadow step as expected.
Murky Vial's spell, Blinding Step, should have both blindness and shadowstep effects, per http://lucy.allakhazam.com/spellhist...72&source=Live . It is missing shadowstep | ||

So if you drink this, you're supposed to self blind and self shadowstep?
I saw in patch notes from 2000 it said this(?) http://www.tski.co.jp/baldio/patch/20000719.html Quote:

Perhaps it is meant to blind the target and shadowstep the player? A bit like like an escape smoke bomb from cartoons.
Currently blinding caster with no shadowstep on green using the default UI. I will try to investigate this further, as I remember (and can see from a previous post) that in the past (on blue) it was working the opposite to what others report (it would shadowstep without blind - halfling warrior, potions probably bought from Rivervale). The shadowstep was a good way to avoid fall damage (as it just ports you to the ground in line of sight). I suspect whether or not the blind or shadowstep portion of the spell work depends on the client. Either that or different vendors are selling slightly different potions. Ones on green from Cabilis certainly blind / no shadowstep. It is going to be frustrating to research as the potions are like 10pp a pop and not so widely available.
