Default Ogre warrior FSI with a guise?

Cant seem to find a definitive answer, if playing an ogre warrior and then in dark elf form with the guise, do you maintain FSI?

Also, do you lose bash in dark elf form?

Thanks for any help?

I love the min/max of ogre warrior but the gnome warrior with then dark elf illusion seems enticing.

Thanks

You keep FSI in DE illusion, but you lose slam.

Yep, FSI is considered a standard racial so you have it permanently on the character, but slam has the visualrace flag, so you gain or lose it with an illusion.

Keep in mind that Regen is also like this, but troll race comes with a visual race regen modifier of 1HP that doesn't stack with being an actual troll [You must be logged in to view images. Are you basing your satisfaction with the character on your ability to get the Guise?

Isn't that what Green/Teal are for?

I usually play a race that I just simply like to stare at. If I can get a guise and play a min/max race like a ogre warrior, yea, I'll stare at a biscuit body for 35 levels and then camp a guise.

Realistically I'd just roll a DE to begin with but slam is nice and I don't like Barbarians or Trolls much either.

Gnome with a guise is probably a little cooler but the starting stats are pretty enticing with a ogre - certainly I've seen every race tank AoW or some big dragon but also Ogre warrior with clicky bracer is sexy too.
