Question Anyone killin Dain?

Hello!

I'd like to improve certain factions and so would love to get the faction hits for Dain.

Is anyone killing him regularly? If so when is the next kill?

Is it cool to hang out for the faction hit?

Thanks!

Dain is regularly killed within 20 minutes of spawn and often competed for by the top guilds on the server.

When most guilds kill the big dogs of Kael, Thurg, and SS they usually don't mind someone faction-tagging. Always good to shoot them a tell during a pop to make sure, but something like casting a heal spell or doing a single bash or kick when the mob is at like 1% is fine.

As for when the next pop is, you'd have to ask the guilds that keep timers. Those mobs spawn in "windows" so there's a several hour period where they could pop, once every 7 days. Whether or not they'd divulge that information however, is their choice.

You could probably ascertain when Dain is in window by making a "/w all thurgadinb" hotkey and checking it all day on Fridays. The most recent Earthquake (aka simulated repop, which respawns all raid bosses) was on a Friday only 2 weeks ago, so the 16-hour spawn windows are still mostly on Friday.
