Spell Rarity
Something's been gnawing at me... are prices on "Kunark level 55-60" spells based solely on desirability by players or does the rarity vary? I guess to keep it simple let's focus on just one level: level 60.
Let's say I kill a Cliff Golem and the RNG gods placed a level 60 spell on it... Is there a greater chance of that spell being Spell: Entrapping Roots than there is of it being Spell: Torpor? Or is it simply /ran X where x=number if level 60 droppable Kunark spells? | ||

For certain spells like Torpor, the price is derived largely from the return on investment you can expect from having it, rather than rarity. A shaman with Torpor makes dramatically more money than one without Torpor, which means the spell commands a very high price.
You can see the same pricing effect across classes--there's no (known) difference in drop rate for Enchanter spells and Cleric spells, but Enchanter spells nonetheless frequently command prices up to 10k+ while Cleric spells are a pittance. This is because Enchanters make a lot of money, while Clerics generally do not.
