In the interest of conversation ...

Manastone - add a semi-significant cooldown (5s? 10s?), make NODROP and keep in game.
Guise - do not change. adds pvp without changing power between players. perfect time limited pvp reward.
Firepot Binding - keep for duration, because ...
Lockets - competely remove. gives too much advantage to early bird neckbeards. "I get to be the best PVPer on the box because my dumbass took a month off of work to wander around 1 zone at Kunark launch to lock down any potential drops." Save us all the trouble.
COS - make pre-nerf NODROP, post nerf as is. Spicy pvp inc
Elder Beads - Fuck Velious.
?? Other shit
Red/White Dragon Teeth - make NODROP.
PoSky Keys - make NORENT. You want to progress through PoSky for sick loot? Better act like it and stay up there, or be ready to farm all the way back up again each time. You want to PvP in sky? Better be ready to park that toon there for as long as it takes. Time to start making PoSky loot worth something again.

Velious makes OG EQ and Kunark not worth experiencing to bridge the power gap. Cap it at Kunark. Avoids a ton of balancing issues and a ton of PvE nonsense. Want to raid Velious? Go hit up Red 1.0, Green or Blue. Red 2.0 could be a dream come true with some attention to detail.

I agree that red 2 can be a dream come true with some attention to detail.

I appreciate your well considered response. I know staff reads this stuff and experienced players like yourself have much to contribute, especially on pvp where little things make a big difference.

PoSky Keys need to be soulbound AND no rent so you can’t simply corpse them.

Ya aren’t they already no rent?

How long does a decent raid sky event take

Maybe every character has a timed despawning manastone for 25% of the time, randomly during their logins.

So necros and shamans aren't permanently relatively de-powered with their mana regen abilities, but the other classes can enjoy the manabones without them being a per-requisite for optimum version of the class.

Being able to suicidally draw from my HP to get another heal off is majorly clutch and a fun game feature but I dunno, I'd trade it for a better game.

Never add them… or just keep them in the game permanently.
If in. In nerfed form.

If you had a choice how would you implement these on red 2.0?
Out of curiosity, at what point does hype/daydreaming about 2.0 turn into complete delusion and insanity? If it can be so black and white. We’ve certainly crossed the timeline threshold, but when exactly?

Don't custom implement shit because devs are dumb and will fuck it up. Keep it classic manastone drops during classic, firepot binding during kunark etc.

If you leave it up to the masses to vote the dev will pick the dumbest fucking suggestion proposed by the biggest taint fondler and run with it.

Just play on VZTZ to see what I mean, Cwall and Kringe convinced Voidd mage pets should be impossible to CC and now you have pets running around you can't fear or root even when they are unbuffed.
