Project Quarm's success or failure has no affect on Project 1999. Even if some people here decide to go over there to play they may not stay or they will simply play on both servers. Either way, I know have no interest in Project Quarm. I'm staying here and there is quite a few people I know who feel the same way.

I have never understood why e-sport types would choose EQ as their game to play competitively. So many better venues for that kind of gameplay. There are games out there where you actually can deny pixels to others. On p1999 you only do it on one server.

If anyone truly wants to experience pixels denied to them by the e-sports types I suggest creating your own local private server (Akkadius or TAKP both are both easy to create in less than an hour or two depending on your skill level.) and #summonitem to your hearts content.

Yeaaaa, unless they fix the shitty 3rd person camera stuttering, it’s not gonna siphon many players. I was excited for it, but that’s absolute trash and a total deal breaker for me. I’ll check it out when/if they ever fix it.
