Hey goys don’t indulge in any of life’s pleasures and put it all in the stock market like a good goy
Stock market is my only real complaint about capitalism. I love losing and gaining thousands in the course of a week, without there being any rhyme, reason, or basis to the value of any of this shit in this first place

Then again, I'm an engineer and I don't understand the (((invisible hand))).

You don't know how cheap pot is, do you? How much money would sixty bucks gain in five years?

Capitalism is great until it starts to eat itself. Then it needs a bop of the nose to increase market competition and consumer protections. Roosevelt's bops are long, distant memories.
I don't know herbonomics, but I am guessing 60 bucks is for 1 week? If it is a weekly expense over 10 years, compounding at 7%, that is roughly $45,000. Not bad for something you can grow yourself.

(to calculate weekly or monthly expenses compounded over ten years, multiply by 752 or 173 respectively)

Just confusing to see how many people have such distorted views of how money/economy works. I never knew there existed so many batshit crazy socialists until 2015-2016 and reading the posts on these boards.

I think it is a genuine poor understanding of elementary mathematics metastasised.

8th of an ounce for 60 bucks, usually, in Houston. Can't grow your own here in Texas tho'. An 8th lasts me 3 weeks or so, light smoker I guess. Some nuanced specifics, mainly to people's financial situations are all that's needed for your argument.

This is true but I don't manage my portfolio. I understand real estate but I have no ducking clue about the stock market. I thought Tesla was a horrible idea because the batteries are volatile and 100x worse for the environment than the hydrocarbon industry (I thought someone would figure out a safe way to keep hydrogen stored in automobile tanks without having them essentially be bombs in the event of a collision). Anyway, I have no eye for this shit and I don't like the fluctuations
