There was a lot missing from the start that's been taken out of context. If I'm a cop and I see a random car aggressively pull up on me, yeah that might be cause for concern especially with all the anti-police rhetoric going around the country at the moment. However, even if he patrolling looking for homeless people or "troublemakers" you can't just sit in private property like that, police tend to think the law don't apply to them.

IMO both sides are at fault here, I'm not taking the officer's side, by all means that doesn't give the guy an excuse to pull out a gun though on a man's property, but both sides coulda handled the situation more delicately rather than just get into a dick measuring contest.

The doctor rolled into his property to see a cop trespassing (the cops harass his patients constantly as he works with the refugee population and they are often targeted) so he honks to make the cop aware that he is pulling in... the cops reaction? Draw his gun and tell the owner to "get his fucking hands in the air"

ya. that irks me too. The cop should have apologized for the misunderstanding and went on his way. Some of these cops are ego maniacs.

The flip side is that cops have to deal with the worst situations society has to offer on a daily basis. I imagine they have to a degree something akin to combat fatigue.

Sounds great until the knee is on your neck. You probably think you're safe because you're white. You're neither. You're not safe. And without means or political connections, you're just a lighter shade of brown.
