Assuming you have yet to level beyond your mid-twenties...
Lake of Ill Omen is a good enough spot for soloing, ideally in and around backdoor (close to the Frontier Mountains zoneline) until a ledge group forms. Granted, old word mobs are easier than the majority of what Kunark has to offer, but the gems and rare loot from sarnaks (earring of station / bracer of the hidden) make it worth the effort. What's more, you can be bound one zone over in Firiona Vie which, conveniently, happens to have a Paladin trainer along with a class-appropriate spell vendor or two. After leveling beyond your twenties, there are roaming drolvargs back in Firiona Vie. During normal hours the odd duo partnership can be found out along its coast and occasionally even a small group, which will likely be comprised of classes that can solo just fine; this should make for some relaxed but memorable grind sessions. The drops aren't as good as in LoIO, but bronze and fine steel do drop semi-regularly and, with merchants not too far away, the platinum can really start to add up. Also, canines give very decent experience, though they are on the rare side. | ||

Baton of Faith. It won't get bagged until epic or Nature's Defender.
