When the vietnam war happened they where drawing up plans to use nukes. the only thing that stopped the president at the time was the very real threat of people over running the presidents office/white house(i don't advocate just listing history). The very real threat that american citizens can violently overthrow and its written into the constitution to make it lawful is a very very last resort stop gap. And the more our institutions continue to rip us off when/if the time comes you will be glad america wasn't disarmed. We are the biggest super power in the world many times over. Trust and believe.
