no, i'm not sick, my wife is going through chemo. her immune system is compromised, and as i promised to be with her the whole time, i'm leaving the BMTU as little as feasibly possible.

i am, however, far more insane with anxiety and insomnia than i was about a week ago. as one would be, i figure.

Damn, son..

Imagine having a broken leg and a wife on chemo and wanting to burn the constitution all in the same week.

That has got to be rough man, prayers.

the only bone i ever broke was when i stomped on my own pinky doing figure eights with a basketball in the 6th grade

i was never big on narcotics. my prescription drug problems ended in 2013, and those were all benzos.

So did you take any selfies of your leg in a cast? did any hot night nurses write things on it yet?

To be sure, dealing with the health care industry in this nation for any real length of time would fairly cause a lot of people to want to burn it all down. It's a very broken and corrupt business, worse than it needs to be and getting still-worse year by year.

Hope your wife pulls through okay, Rob. Quite often the chemo makes a person feel so bad that it's hard to maintain a drive to keep going.

Brother in law was blasted by so much chemo he would bleed on his hospital sheets. People mistake my attitude. I grew up in a country that believed it had the best of everything but I think we sent that overseas at some point.

Things began to tighten during my lifetime as someone has to pay for this.
