Default mana regeneration bug?

I have a level 40 cleric, with a meditation skill of 205.
every tick I receive 17 mana, then drops 1, and then jumps 17 mana on the next tick, giving me an effective regen rate of 16 mana per tick.

after reading the meditate skill definition:

"For every 12 points your Meditate skill has, you will regenerate +1 mana (per tick) when sitting."
source http://wiki.project1999.com/Meditate

204/12=17 +1 should equal 18 mana per tick.

I read earlier today, actually, that this is due to a certain server-client interaction. That is, the Titanium client thinks the mana regen is higher than it is, providing 17 per tick, in this case, but when it checks against the server, it is corrected to 16 per tick. I can't speak to what the wiki says, but I do remember HP and MP numbers fluctuating a lot on live.

yes, that is the reason for the drop, I understand that, my question is the difference between the formula and the actual. if the formula is wrong, then it should be taken down. If the actual is wrong, there is a bug and should be fixed. The difference between 16 and 18 is large to a pure caster

Right there with ya pal, 18/tic would rock, but the forum is a user-generated wiki. Take it with a grain of salt and feel free to make a note of it. (Not tryin to be rude.)

you are not being rude at all [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I am kinda curious about what everyone else is getting on there med skill and regeneration rate is. the skill was pretty consistent up until a few levels ago, but recently seems to have stopped raising with my levels. Feels like I have gained 16 mana a tick for the last 6 levels. it takes me 10 minutes to regen all my mana from 0 to 100%. that is a long as time....

If this keeps up I am ditching all my wisdom gear to feel better about myself

So Mage guide from 2004 says Med / 12 = Regen.

Quote:
(2) Meditate Skill

Beginning at level 4, necromancers gain the Meditate ability. While you are sitting (or riding a mount), you receive a mana regeneration bonus equal to 1/10th of your Meditate skill, to a maximum of 25 mana/tick at Meditate 252.

n.b. This skill is level-capped until it reaches 252. At each character level, the maximum rank you can achieve is equal to [(level x 5) + 5]. e.g. At level 12, a character's maximum Meditate rank is [(12 x 5) + 5] = 65.
Necro Post from 2003 says Med / 10 = Mana Regen
