crashing on game entry
I download the game, executed the p99 patch, and deleted the necessary files.
I get into the launcher, select the blue server ( scars of velious ) and enter world so it black screens, then tries to change resolutions ( as always ) then boots me back to the server select screen. I've played this game before, but the only solution I found was to "slow my computer down " in the bios. Last time I played this game ( about 6 months ago ) it gave me some error, read up on it, and that was the solution. this time, I'm getting no error, just booted back to server select screen. was hoping WinEQ2 would bypass and fix that, but it didn't. any ideas of how I can play this game without rolling my speed down? thx

I should also mention that I am launching the game from the titanium launch file.
I tried to launch it from the eqgame.exe file, but it says " please load everquest.exe " or something I made the short cut to eqgame.exe, went into pathway, and added "patch me" to the end of the path as suggested in the tech help area still get a dialogue box after a few seconds to "please load everquest.exe"

anyone? a little assistance?
here is my set up CPU: AMD FX-9590 4.70 GHz (5.0GHz Turbo) Eight-Core AM3+ CPU 8MB L2 Cache & Turbo Core Technology ((( currently running at 4.7 GHZ ))) MOTHERBOARD: * GIGABYTE 990FXA-UD3 AMD 990 ATX w/ Ultra Durable 3 OVERCLOCK: No Overclocking POWERSUPPLY: 750 Watts - EVGA SuperNOVA NEX750B 80 Plus Bronze Modular Power Supply and I had this VIDEO: XFX Double D AMD Radeon R9 280 3GB GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 x16 Video Card (Single Card) which has not been swapped out for RADEON RX 480 not a super savy computer guy, but last time I ( mind you, I was getting that 1070 error code I think it was ) I lowered my voltages or something in bios to slow my computer down, and it worked. but my computer ran just as little off for everything else, and took a really long time to boot up. I don't know if that's the proper way to do it... maybe I did back off the clock speed? I can't rememeber, it was a year ago. I'm sure someone much smarter can help me out? please?

If you don't understand what you are doing, you should definitely never adjust your clock speed.

Yes jeff.... I've never done it before. but from reading tons of the posts regarding that error, that was the solution. however, winEQ was supposed to bypass that.
the problem is WINEQ is not solving the problem this time around, I'm also not getting the error code ( although I am assuming its the same problem ) you could also offer some advice if you are more knowledgable

bump - just installed on Windows 10, having another crack at running it on here.
All fine getting to server select, pick any server though and attempt to log in...just get thrown back to the login screen :/ Things I've tried:- Running as an administrator Running in compatibility mode (xp sp 2, vista, win7) Launching from titanium.bat All the same outcome :/
