Default Weight of stacked items is wrong

I have 20 bandages each weighting 0.5 stones, giving a total of 10 stones. However if they are combined in a single stack, they weigh less than 1 stone in total.
If I split them up in 5 stacks with 4 bandages in each, then each "mini-stack" weigh 0.5 stones
Same effect with "bottles of milk"-stacks.

I have a suspicion that the total weight is not multiplied by the number of items in the stack.

Looks like a bug to me.

Did stacked items' weight add up at launch? That might explain the existence of quivers.

Well, it would justify stuff like silk bandages a lot more, If you could loose 6 stones by maintaining a stack of those, rather than buying stock bandages from vendors. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Tbh I have no clue how it was in classic, I just assumed it was a bug, because that stacking mechanic doesn't make sense. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
